In 2009, Alessandra Bray founded the Avanzi brand. The name evokes the idea of moving forward, of transforming what remains into something new, evolved, and surprising.
Alessandra has developed a personal technique capable of reducing cardboard to embroidery “threads” or woven rushes, giving life to lamps with a strong evocative impact, where light and shadow become the protagonists of a sensory story.
Each piece is the result of a meditative and manual process: Alessandra carefully follows all the stages, from cutting to assembly, with the aim of innovating, respecting the environment, and constantly improving through research
