Born in Galatina in 1968, Nico Preste is a craftsman and artist who transforms recycled materials into original and meaningful works of art. After spending some time in Milan, he returned to his homeland, where he now combines his passion for nature with his love of art and craftsmanship.
Using ceramics, wood, metal, and vintage objects found in flea markets, he creates unique pieces that tell a story and reflect a deep concern for sustainability and tradition. Each creation is made entirely by hand, using traditional techniques and attention to every detail.
His art is a dialogue between past and present, between matter and imagination: each work is an experience, a personal expression that gives new life to what would otherwise be forgotten.
