Founded in 1807 and handed down from generation to generation, Ceramiche e Terracotte di Indino Gianpiero is a benchmark for artistic ceramics in the heart of Salento. A passion for art and ceramics, combined with a background in art history, guides every creation, which is handmade using traditional and innovative techniques.
In the workshop in Lucugnano di Tricase, unique terracotta pieces come to life, the result of careful craftsmanship. Each piece is made from natural materials and is personally supervised at every stage, from modeling to firing.
Sustainability is an integral part of the work: the company uses solar-powered electric kilns and gas kilns, and still preserves an ancient wood-fired kiln from the 1800s, a symbol of the continuity between tradition and innovation.
